I hope you still got dressed up to watch the video at home! A few years ago, I would visit a person who showed opera videos in his home theatre every Wednesday to a small group of people. The gentleman loved opera and spent his youth at the Met watching many performances. He originally began attending opera performances as a teen because of buddy his said he can meet good looking women in line. His appreciation of opera grew from this adolescent goal. His home theatre had original chairs and decorations from the Met, acquired when the theatre remodeled. I learned so much from this gentleman and I'm happy he opened my eyes to another world that I was totally unfamiliar with. Now you have sparked an interest in another arena I know little about. Ballet. Thank you for opening another door for those of us who feel too ignorant to enter the grand world of ballet and music. I may just get dressed up and watch a performance in the near future.
