Very good information and rational suggestions on how to manage in this unique (at least to me) time. We have cancelled a driving trip to Death Valley next week. Why take chances when we can easily reschedule. I am sure Death Valley will still be there when the Coronavirus is long gone. I would hope that some scientists are assigned to find a vaccine for this family of viruses. Yes! Cure the Common Cold and all those other nasty diseases caused by this family of viruses.

This is why people are freaking out "Starting at midnight, residents of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties must stay in their homes, leaving only for essential functions like food shopping or doctor visits."
This was just announced at 1:00 this afternoon.
They are allowing grocery stores, hardware store, and pharmacies to stay open but I am wondering who is going to be working. We have supplies, and have been slowly preparing since the boys' school got cancelled intil April 13th.
In the mean time, I would recommend getting some essentials for yourself. I am not saying by ALL the toilet paper but having one extra pantry staples on hand might be good.
